Rigorous training and quality control procedures have been put into place in all areas of our business. Our major suppliers, Texaco, Koch, Amoco, and Marathon-Ashland, demand strict adherence to their own quality control programs and procedures regarding product handling.

All Tycoon Oil Company personnel involved directly with product handling are instructed in the proper handling of hazardous materials associated with their job functions. Personnel are trained in the proper maintenance and operation of equipment to prevent the discharge of any hazardous materials training course put out by the Minnesota Petroleum Marketers Association. In addition to this training, all drivers have been trained on the use of our Oil Spill Response Plan, approved by the MPCA and the EPA, and have emergency response numbers and information immediately accessible to them in their vehicles and workstations. All vehicles carry spill kits and products used in the unlikely event of a spill.
